Ogden Contemporary Arts’ Artist in Residence (AIR) program invites artists from around the world to spend eight weeks living and working in Ogden, drawing on the landscapes, histories, and communities of Utah. Built around an open-ended, artist-led approach, the residency centers on-site research and exploration, supporting established artists whose practices address contemporary questions of conservation, cultural identity, and community. Each residency builds lasting connections with the people of Ogden through public projects, open studios, and community murals. Since 2022, the program has hosted Ya La’ford, Eric J. García, Luis Alvaro Sahagún Nuño, Suzanne Sbarge, and 2026 resident Zachary Fabri. Stay tuned for details on our 2027 Artist-in-Residence!
