About the Artist:

Vida, Muerte, Jusiticia participating artist, Tania Candiani, will share about the ideas and processes that drive her work. Candiani is a Mexican artist known for her interdisciplinary, large-scale, multimedia installations with an extensive career in Mexico and internationally. She was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in Fine Arts in 2011, represented Mexico at the 56th Venice Biennial in 2015, and will represent Mexico at the Cuenca Biennial in 2021 and Biennale of Sydney in 2022..
