The annual OCA Block Party is a free, community-driven, family-friendly event. According to OCA Director, Venessa Castagnoli, it aims to “bring our community together, allowing them to interact and connect with one another through art.” Event attendees can not only visit local artisan booths, but children can take part in making art with OCA’s youth education program, Artist Factory. The Artist factory programming will include printmaking, painting, poetry, upcycled art, and more. Music from various bands, like Proper Way, will take the stage, while adults can mingle in the beer garden.
