Material Memories

February 5th, 2027 – May 7th, 2027

Opening Reception: TBD
Members Only Happy Hour from 4-6pm
Open to Public from 6-9pm

Material Memories brings together artists who use textiles as vessels for storytelling, memory, and identity. Through weaving, stitching, tufting, and silk collage, the exhibition moves fiber beyond the category of craft, treating it as a language shaped by lived experience, cultural history, and inheritance. Featured works hold stories that are personal, ancestral, mythic, and political, making the case for textile as a form of record-keeping and for heritage as something we carry, repair, and pass on. Featured artists include 2026 Joan Mitchell Fellow Coulter Fussell and Mychaelyn Michalec.
